For years we have noticed that so many incredible things here go, well, unnoticed. Truly remarkable things. Green County TV is about to change all of that. One story at a time.
Our Story
How We Began
Over the past decade, the team at Synqronus Communications has been producing video and photo content for companies and non-profits all around Green County and the surrounding area. In essence, we have already been producing GCTV content without even realizing it. However, there is something else that we have realized at the same time.
Generally speaking, we have found a misunderstanding or lack of awareness by a large majority of Green County residents about the remarkable things happening here. This isn’t to say that people aren’t interested in knowing more about what goes on. It is just difficult for most folks to stay informed unless they are actively participating in service clubs, business or economic development, volunteering in area non-profits, or are present at community events and forums.
GCTV was born out of a need to share this information and these stories in one place, where users could go to learn, be inspired, and get informed. Our biggest goal was also to share it in a way that was interesting and entertaining to the viewer, and makes them want to share with the rest of the world.
Our Audience
The audience for GreenCounty.TV is as vast as the subject matter. However, our online streaming experience is specifically intended to be interesting and exciting to both residents and non-residents of Green County. Through the use of web and social media, GreenCounty TV will be liked, shared, and experienced by users across a wide geographical area.
The intended outcome is for viewers outside of the area to be interested in visiting Green County, working in Green County, and ultimately become residents. This ideally develops a stronger workforce for area businesses, promotes property and housing development, and should allow others to create new jobs and employment opportunities through development of new companies and organizations. Green County and its residents dedication to strength in community should ideally be the model of how other communities operate.

The main goals of GCTV are very simple. First, we want to share our stories with a local audience in order to inspire and educate those that live here as to what really goes into making our communities special. Second, and perhaps an even larger focus, is to share our stories with people from around the region in order to attract those who want to work and live amongst our culture.
The truth is, Green County is in need of continued economic development. We need more people to work and live here.
We need community involvement. We need housing. We need growth. We need to build a work culture that we can all be proud to participate in.
